Biography

History
Felidae and her sister followed in the footsteps of her mother, a brilliant botanist who specialised in alchemy, and those long before her. She was the result of an accidental conception between her mother and her father, a man she met at the academy she was teaching in Bahari Bay. Her student, who we now know as Felidae's father, was a keen man, with a bright eye, who'd been practicing flow alchemy. He introduced her to the world of flow, and it's experiments within the botanical world, and from there, the two formed a sexual relationship. Tamala had always been the jealous type, and the thought of her mother getting involved with a younger man made her resentful, so once finding out about flow magic, she began to practice it herself. What she didn't realise, is ingesting flow straight from the source can cause a serious addiction. And so, Felidae's mother, laced with it by Tamala, became addicted. Her partner needed to keep her around, and with her knew found knowledge, he tried to get her to sign a contract to the cartel to work with them. It was an oppurtunity for her to start a new life after losing her husband, and being able to give her daughter a better future.
Felidae is 25 years younger than her sister, Tamala, whom she is estranged from. Tamala does not blame Felidae for her mother's death, but she resents her, an envious streak to her. Under the influence, she signs the contract. When Felidae is born, she unknowingly has inherited her mother's addiction, thus leading to a life of avoidance.
She comes from a long line of herbalists, or atleast, that’s how they presented themselves. They were actually much better known for the experiments of psychotropic medicine, which, after becoming illegal 180 years before Felidae was born, meant her family had to resort to…external means of delivering their medicines.
Signing a contract with the Grimalkin cartel, Felidae now works in the underground supplying them with medicines and various other drugs to keep them happy. She doesn’t mind, she’s on pretty safe terms with them considering she’s the only herbalist in the area with the knowledge on how to use such drugs for medicinal purposes. So they’ll keep her around a little while longer. When she’s not providing her medicines and advice to those above ground, she works the underground markets, treating grimalkin and bruised and battered Majiri boys who manage to find themselves on the end of the Cartel’s fist (cough cough Reth Cough cough) Of course, medicinal drugs are not the only thing she provides. She also sells a plethora of other chemicals and substances used for recreational purposes. Sometimes people need to drown their sorrows. What? you thought she was completely morally righteous? **Other Notes

• Felidae got her name by her Aunt as she was born into the Grimalkin Cartel. She thought it would be a fitting considering she grew up surrounded by cat-like people.
• It is pronounced "Fel-ee-day" not "feel-uh-dee" which is the correct way to pronounce the scientific term. It was coined the term after Nymphadora was forced to sign a contract for the girl, and her species was put down as Grimalkin (Felidae) and she was called "Little Fel". When corrected, it's shrugged off "We all just assumed it was pronounced like Felicity…yeah we weren't the brightest"- Felidae

Timeline

23 years before the game begins, Felidae is born. Her mother unfortunately passes away during childbirth as her body is too weak. Her Father passes her on to his sister, Nympha’dora under the guise that she is to look after the child from now on. Her Father vanishes.

14 years later, Felidae is mischievous and always getting into trouble.
